Before creating Viridis, I (Vilma) worked as a VFX Coordinator on major film and TV productions.

If you've never worked on a VFX production, picture this: thousands of shots moving between dozens of vendors and in-house artists, each with different deadlines, different feedback loops, and different priorities — all while budgets, schedules, and department heads need constant updates, and one missed handoff can throw off a whole pipeline. My job was to make sure none of that fell apart. Scheduling, budgets and POs, vendor tracking, review pipelines, reporting to producers, keeping every department talking to each other — if it kept a production moving, it likely ran through me at some point.

Turns out, that's exactly the skillset a growing creator business needs. Swap "VFX vendors" for "editors, VAs, and sponsors," and "shot delivery" for "content deadlines," and the problem is the same: too many moving parts, not enough system holding them together. Viridis was created to put these systems in place.

Where the name comes from

Viridis is Latin for green — the colour of growth, life, and pretty much everything I own. It's also a nod to my own name, Vilma, because if I'm going to spend my life fixing other people's chaos, I'm at least going to enjoy a bit of alliteration while I do it.

Green, growth, Vilma — Viridis. It stuck.
